Lived there for 4 LONNNG years. Here's my list of bad things and I kid you NOT, the complex said, "Well, sorry..." to (all on seperate occasions):
My car broken into, feces in washer!, my tire slashed, my wheel stolen, my truck broken into, ice never remedied and light was out so I fell on HEAVILY icy stairs, my roof had 3 LARGE leaks (the last one caused one area of my ceiling to completely fall down! Luckily I already had my computer desk moved out!!), drunken people passed out, several shootings (one series demolished the car next to mine and left holes in mine as well), 2 MEN SHOT (ONE KILLED!!!- AND THAT WAS RIGHT OFF MY BALCONY!!!) and the last straw, which happened two days before my lease was up... my car was flat out stolen. IN BROAD DAYLIGHT!!! This does not even begin to explain what all was wrong with my apartment. And when I went to give the key back, the manager (SHELLY!) is now charging me to clean and repaint my apartment, which I already did! Seriously, DO NOT MOVE THERE!!! Luckily when I went to take my key back today, I stopped two ladies from moving in, haha!
P.S. The complex was built on a landfill and that's why it's falling apart. The reason it changed OWNERS (not just management AGAIN) was because the old owner found out what a piece of ---- complex he owned.

EDIT:
I wrote this 3 years ago and just read it again. I wanted to clarify when I said, "ONE KILLED!!!- AND THAT WAS RIGHT OFF MY BALCONY!!!". The man was not killed on my balcony- he was kill in the courtyard directly BELOW my balcony!

You right!! When you move out they charge you to fix stuff they should have already fixed or standardly do. They charged $165 for painting an apartment I already painted and carpet cleaning $65 for carpets that were in great condition because I cleaned them. I had to clean my carpets because of the trashy and cheap workers they hired to build a gate that left the area where I lived disorderly. You couldn't walk 5 feet from my apartment and not walk in water or mud that you could track into your apartment. They have the worst living quarters around and I had one of the better units.

Ok, I have to stop laughing long enough to type.. Ok how is someone supposed to take you seriously when you claim that this was once a landfill when it is actually built on a tall hill of solid rock? My folks came up here all the time before the apts were built, it was a beautiful place to hang out!
