Just like a car salesman...tells you what you want to hear. Fountain Crest is just that. Our first month here, I was confronted with a group of kids, who run freely around the place...even when hearing on the news how kids end up dead in their own complexes. They had a "toy" gun that looked real and shot pellets to play with. I took that gun from them and busted it across the always full trash can and watching them cry I told them to get their parents if they wanted. Of course I never heard from them.

Our toilets have never worked properly and when maintenance did show up, I had to show them how to use the store-bought plastic plunger. I've lost count of the copies of work orders for the same problem. One of the maintenance men in particular was too busy trying to pick up on the females that were home alone. I'm sure the management became aware of that but did nothing about it.

My wife underwent respiratory surgery just about the time we were due to move in. After a few weeks, she started coughing profusely and sneezing uncontrolled. After several visits to the doctor it was determined that she had acquired an allergy to the marble/dust combination that was falling from the stucco ceilings. DUST was everywhere. We couldn't even place our magazines on the front table. The tv's had thick dust on the screens every two days...it was terrible.

When we moved in the management said, "By the way, your carpet is a little stained". Needless to say, the carpet was both filthy and cheap...it was never replaced.

Most times the property grounds were so full of dog poop that you literally had to step over it... not to mention the smell and the flies..

We could hear our neighbors doing things that we'd rather have not. Constant noise and fighting. Also, we could hear the toilets flushing and cabinets closing.

There is no effort to update these obviously ancient apartments. If you don't have a problem with filth this is the place for you!
