We have had quite the experience with the incompetent leasing agent in merely trying to get through the approval process. We have no criminal record and after four weeks, there has not even been a background check conducted. We have been getting nothing but the run around from this person, who after all this time, can not even tell us for certain if we are denied or approved or exactly how much longer we are going to have to wait to know any certain information.

The information she does give us by phone varies by week and from what we can tell, she is just trying to wait us out so that she can pocket our deposit. We know others that have moved into the complex and only had to wait about a week. We are told that we possibly make too much money for the tax credit property even though we are lacking near 10,000 of reaching the family limit on their guidelines''' The leasing agent is completely unsure if we will qualify or not. We have no idea how she was ever given this position or how in the world she is able to hold this position.

The whole experience has been nothing but a hassle and we no longer want to rent from these people. We have spoken with the manager who was unresponsive and we have gotten nowhere. I just wonder how long they really believe people will wait to move in. It is not a luxury property, there are all kinds of people in this complex. With section 8 and low income people I cannot believe they honestly expect perfect credit or want to charge excess fees ontop of the deposit, although there is no real explaination of the charges or any promises of approval upon payment.

We are beyond annoyed at this point because every day the story changes. We are going to go someplace that actually wants to rent apartments. After reading all the comments, it looks like we are making the right choice. The way people are treated as applicants really is a good indication of how you will be treated as residents once you are allowed to move in.

What do you EXPECT from Section 8 Property? You get what you pay for. The staff is under paid. Bless her heart,,,,Section 8 paper work is GARBAGE!

what the hell, whoever response to this complaint is ignorant..section 8 has nothing to do with Gable Hills because it not a section 8 property. I stay here and I was not on section 8. Staff is not underpaid, management just hire anyone for the job
