This isn't a horrible a place to live. Overall, I have been really pleased with our apartment. We picked this apartment because it has cheap rent, a decent floor plan, good location and its safe. However, as soon as our lease is up we will be moving. The apartment has a contract with Dish Network and AT&T as the only providers for cable and internet. The cable is great, but the internet is a whole other story. We are full time students and the internet is key to our studies. It just may be where our apartment falls on the property, but our internet is slower than dial-up(no joke, its been tested by the great folks at AT&T). Don't expect service, because they know there is nothing you can do. You are stuck with those two choices. It seems pretty lame to move because of internet but because of our circumstances we have too.
