I've been looking at apartments to consider moving to next summer. I've looked at the greens of bedford and really liked the layout of the one bedroom. It does seem like everywhere I look though on this website there are always issues with gangs no matter where you go..and all the nice places I can't afford since I'm still in college seem great. Is this considered Section 8 now cause alot of people have been telling me to ask when I visit places. I really do like the idea though of having a washer and dryer so I wouldn't have to leave my apartment to do it. I really liked the place but it seems to me no matter what I like or think I'll like there are those groups that ruin it for the rest of us.

On average what was the overall cost of living there added onto rent? My goal is to save as much money as possible and if i get into nursing school and if I get the job I want I can still make enough money each month to pay the bills..what is your average water and electric bill. Thanks :)

I have lived there before and I loooove the apartments! I actually plan on going back summer of 2010 and am going out to visit management today about it. I left because it was a little pricey but hindsight, I would rather pay than stay in the dumpy apartments I am in now. The management is great, working class people which you can always tell when you see the number of cars gone in the morning so...no section 8.The response of management/maintenance is the best of any apartments I have stayed in in tulsa. The only concerns I had was insects (roaches, spiders) which they did respond to. Great property...GO FOR IT! they have monthly activities, snacks on fridays for kids after school (which my kids loved).

Well, it is easy to see that Case management is watching the reviews AGAIN. They get online and try to boost their ratings so they get rewards from the main office.
I have lived here for 3 years. I pay my rent on time, have never had a complaint against me, and cant get maintenance to my apartment to fix anything to save my life. They will work diligently all day long outside repairing cosmetic issues with the apartments so they look better, but inside are torn up under the paint. The building they move you into may be roach infested, which is what they did with me. Moved me into an apartment that was INFESTED with roaches and hadnt had anyone in for months because of it, but moved me quickly when I threatened to cancel my lease because of unsanitary conditions. The oven hasnt worked in three months, and I have asked for that long to have it replaced only to be told that the stoves were built into the kitchen, and to take it out and replace it would require them to take out the cabinet next to it between it and the fridge, and it wouldnt be 'visually appealing' so they refused.
I am not afraid to post on here with the TRUTH because I have visited with an attorney now and am taking them to court, filing the papers on wed.
If you move here, do so on your own risk. Be aware of what you are getting into, instead of just listening to the powder-puff responses from those that work here posting online. I am sure that many people are happy, but it is rare to run across one in the parking lot. Most people are too afraid of the people that hang out outside to stay out there for long anyways.
Good luck.
