I recently moved out of the Greens of Bedford and I wanted to make sure that those who are considering living in this place should reconsider.

I always read these things and believe that most of the compaints are due to the fact that tenants cause some of their own issues. But I want to make clear that I paid my rent on time, never complained about noise, trash, or the horrible condition of the apartments, and made sure that when I left the apartment that it was in the SAME condition that I recieved it in. However, management is telling me that I now own them.

I had to terminate my lease early due to a job offer in Dallas, Texas. Like a good tenant I paid my early term fee and did not complain about it (only 3 months left in the lease). However, I have recieved a bill that stated that I needed to pay them for a door that had a whole in it, which was there when I moved in (I wrote this on the conditions form too), the lack of cleaning that was done (I spent 5 hours scrumbing this place), and they want me to pay to replace the blinds that were broken when I moved it. I called and spoke with the manager who said that she would request my file and call me back, which she never did, and now I find out that they have sent me to collection because the managment did not do their job...

I am not one for complaining and believe that the best in everyone, but I have been in 2 different apartment complexes and have never owed anyone anything, why would I start trashing apartments now' I really thought the apartment complex was okay...but then this happens. The apartment was livable and everything was okay until move out.

My opinion on this complex is that it is slowly going down hill. The structure is nothing compared to the new apartments going up, the grounds need major work (roads, sidewalks, parking spaces), and they want those of us who are great tennants to pay for this. I do not suggest this apartment to anyone, simply because they try to screw you in the end.
