I was very happy to find The Greens of Bedford. I researched it a little on the internet, but obviously not enough! Everything was great until about 6 months into the lease when I began seeing roaches!!! I put in requests to have the apartment sprayed and they came time and time again to spray. I finally requested that they spray the whole building-still did nothing, I had bugs crawling around the VERY NEXT DAY! I plan to have a paid exterminator come in-more money out of my pocket due to them not doing their job correctly! I dont want my furniture infested with bugs! A friend of mine lives in another apartment in The Greens of Bedford and he has complaints of mice!!! BEWARE!!! It is a great area to live in-im not scarred to stay there on my own...but the apartments and their up-keep is horrible...

I did become scared to live there after about a year. The type of people moving into the apartments became....not so nice I guess you would say to put it nicely. I got a gun put to my head at 2:30 in the afternoon at the door of my apartment. From then on I carried 'protection' on me at ALL times!!! It ridiculous to live in fear of walking out your own door! Really! I moved out finally and feel much safer and happier! I can sit on my porch without fearing a gun put to my face. Kids at The Greens of Bedford thinks that it is cool to pack a pistol-or something. They wonder the apartments at all hours of the night. I was constantly afraid that my new car was going to be stolen.
Upon moving out we were told that EVERYTHING had to pretty much be perfect...after living there for 1.5 years! We even had to wipe down the walls...even tho they said they would paint them anyways...if there was anything noticable on the walls-then they have reason to charge us for the paint!!! They were replacing the carpet in all the apartments-we noticed this as people around us moved out...so we asked if it was necessary for us to shampoo the carpet...they said 'yes, if you don't want to get charged to replace it'. CAN YOU BELIVE THE NERVE!!! I was highly mad...but we had the apartment ship shape. When we called to have an office lady come do the walk through with us she said it would be about 20 minutes. So we waited and waited-got so aggrevated we called after waiting an HOUR and she said she would be there shortly. Didn't appologize for the wait or anything. She finally showed up after we waited for an hour and a half! RIDICULOUS! It was always one thing after another with these apartments...they never were too concerned about their tenants!
If considering moving to The Greens of Bedford-think again! I learned from experience...don't experience it for yourself..it was pure hell!
