I've lived here for almost 2 years. At first I lived in a 2 bedroom with a roommate and downsized to a one bedroom when I got married. Luckily I've lived upstairs both times and would hate to live downstairs in these poorly insulated buildings. Our 2 bedroom wasn't bad, but I think it was the exception to the rule. Our neighbors were all people with kids and stayed pretty quiet. No bugs that we saw and the carpet got replaced right before we moved in.

The one bedroom has been a whole different experience...
The apartment itself is nothing more than "ok." Every appliance and the carpet could use an update (our microwave has knobs, not buttons), but I've been fortunate enough not to have a bug problem (at least not that I've seen). My washer sounds like it's going to fall through the ceiling whenever it gets to the spin cycle. My husband had to go to Lowe's to buy weather stripping for the door because there was a 2 inch gap on the bottom. Case is the worst at kicking out awful people. Words can't even describe how loud, drunk, and obnoxious our neighbors were almost every night until about 5am. Cops were called at least once a week and numerous people at their parties were taken away in handcuffs for possession. Did they ever get evicted''' No! They stayed the duration of their 6 month lease even though management assured myself and other neighbors on several occasions they would be gone in less than a week.

All in all, there are probably worse places to live (like The Falls). I will never live at a Case property again and I'm pretty sure I'm done with apartments all together after I move out.
