Harvard Terrace doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that stop you. Take a look inside. The apartments are spaced out so that you share no walls with anyone, and you have tons of windows to let in natural light. There are also hardwood floors available, which is extra nice.
The apartments are a bit old, but all of the appliances are up to date. There is tons of covered parking available, and there is also lots of storage space both in and outside the apartments.
The best part about Harvard Terrace is the staff. The leasing agent/property manager is wonderful and very attentive to problems, and their maintenance department is a dream come true. Problems are fixed fast (often times same day!) and they are so courteous. It's really made my time living here wonderful.
Only downsides are that there is virtually no variety to the floorplans, and only two bedrooms are available, so if you need more or less room you're out of luck. They have a laundry facility that isn't the best I've ever seen, but it's not the worst either. There are several laundromats nearby, and there are optional washer/dryer hookups in some apartments. The parking lots are a bit rough and lighting can be a problem, but every complaint I've ever had in this area has been addressed.
So in summary, living at Harvard Terrace is a very unique experience, and very relaxing, and is just about the closest you'll get to living in a home without actually living in one.
