Don't Waste Your Money or Time!

These apartments are too old, not updated, and cost the same price (if not higher) of newer apartment communities. The apartment staff/management will not volunteer information to help you make a reasonable decision. (Probably because they know these apartments aren't reasonable). They only care about making a sale, bringing in money. They'll conveniently forget to tell you it's going to take a good hour for your hot water to warm up because they're on a broiler room system, (so MAKE PLANS for showering) they might forget to tell you that your heating and cooling systems are so old they might not work appropriately, costing you a good LOW average of $350 a month in electric bills.
And don't worry about calling the American Residential Group for problems, the office manager there doesn't care, she will not return calls, and you'll get told, "Sorry about your bad luck."
But hey, if you're looking to pay a good $1200 a month in rent (rent, high water bills, and electricity), live in a very drab apartment (not enough natural light, eggshell colored walls), deal with stuck-up, snaky management, never have anything fixed because you'll always be told "There's nothing we can really do, the apartments are so old...", are prepared to park on the other side of the property because there's not enough parking, and are willing to either pencil in shower time, or just not shower (they have continuous water problems and will turn off the water for repairs FREQUENTLY sometimes giving you notice, sometimes not - pray you don't have a work meeting) then you're headed for a 5 star apartment! If those problems listed don't sound appealing (they are, by the way, just the beginning of problems), then make a good choice and stay away. These apartments rate a 0. Noise level is very low though - a good 5 there - probably due to lack of residents.
Oh yeah, and don't waste your time calling the 24 hour emergency maintanance. They don't do repairs at night, or on weekends, they usually don't report your problems to the office or maintanance staff, and let's hope you catch them on a good night...otherwise, they'll be rude, hateful, and usually hang up on you!
Note to the apartment staff/manager - you're running a professional business...dress as you are instead of always looking like you're going to a club.
