Lincoln Park Apartments

Decent From: harbormast3r Date posted: 7/29/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   I lived at Lincoln Park for 14 months ending in July '07. First, the staff was generally responsive to my inquiries. Second, maintenance came to my apartment twice and both times were done the same day (air-conditioning and window lock). I guess that I'll touch on some of the things that annoyed me while at Lincoln Park. In no particular order, parking was fine during the week but could be difficult to find a covered spot not on an incline on the weekends possibly due to people inviting their weekend companions over and letting them park in the so-called desirable spaces. Also, the support beams (while necessary) can present a challenge to park for anyone driving a vehicle that handles poorly. Also, there are residents that seem to fancy taking up more than 1 space for their precious car as well as storing cars that probably haven't seen the light of day in years. There were probably 2 or 3 times that I parked outside of the garage on the street since it was a much closer walk to my apartment. Other than that, there are really no issues with safety as my vehicle was never vandalized or illegally entered during my stay. I may have had quiet neighbors but I rarely heard anyone walking or showering and the like. The noise that I did encounter came from the courtyard and after 2 nights of it, I paid Michelle a visit and informed her of it. She said that she would handle it and she did. I don't think that she has much patience for rowdy people. It could also be that she was ensuring the peace of mind of the other tenants. No complaints about the grounds or safety. Upon moving out, I was not, in any way, taken to the cleaners (so to speak) and my deposit (less water) was returned in 16 days. I concur with another review of this place in that the layout was a tad confusing and you should be prepared to give detailed instructions to find your apartment to guests. Another thing that I'll miss is the central location. I could be almost anywhere in Tulsa in 10-15 minutes due to the location near the IDL.
