More problems then I can list.

We moved in here in February and it has been a nightmare. The day we moved should have been a huge clue as to how horrid this place is. A few of the problems when we moved in: If you ran your hand along the kitchen counters, they came away black. Dead bugs in all the cabinet. Hair still in bathtub and on sink counter. The blinds on the sliding glass door to the patio had stains and stuff on them from literally top to bottom. The shelves in the cabinets were all bowed down. If you have the dishwasher open, it tips forward several inches. The wood the patio is made of is rotted and there was all kinds of trash on the patio. The screen door was leaning against the patio wall and had several holes in it. Maintenance took it to re-screen it and never brought it back even though I have asked about it several times.
About 9 weeks ago, the ceiling in our bedroom developed a very bad leak. In one day it went from a small light water stain(about 6in by 4in) to very dark brown and over 1 1/2ft circular. It took maintenance over 3 weeks to fix the leak and there were several days in a row during those 3weeks where it didn't rain. It took them another 4 1/2 weeks after that to come spray some stuff on the ceiling that got rid of the stain but not the mold on the inside. They finally cut out the affected chunk of ceiling about a week and a half ago and put a piece of plastic over the hole, which was good because that same night, it started leaking again.(the plastic is filled with water) They have yet to patch the hole and it has not rained in 4days.
What makes this all worse is the fact that I am allergic to mold and have been none stop sick. I haven't been able to sleep in my bedroom in over 2 months and until they cut out the moldy ceiling, I was coughing so bad I was barely able to sleep because I kept waking myself up. Oh, and about 2 weeks before they "fixed" the leak, I had gone to the office to make sure the wrote up a maintenance report(after calling several times) and a few days later the maintenance guy shows up asking about a "problem" with our toilet not working(what the heck) and I told him it was fine and asked when they were going to fit our ceiling and he had NO CLUE what I was talking about. Every time I called the office to find out when they were going to work on it, I had to re-explain the problem. It seems like no one talks to anyone else in the office and no one remembers or writes anything down.
The people below us as very noisy. They let their kids run around at all hours screaming and make a ton of noise and they love to play their music so loud, we can hear it(not just the bass) over our TV, even when watching action movies. The people next to us are the same way. I love music, but that doesn t mean I want to listen to theirs. I had a couple friends over for a girls movie night last night(my hubby was hanging with his guy friends) and my lovely neighbors had there music going so loud we all got headaches from the bass being so loud. Called apartment security and they did nothing.
I have called the office so many times and nothing ever gets done.
This is not even a complete list of all the problems we have had.
I have lived in apartments and have never seen anything this bad. I wish there was some kind of apartment black list that got sent to everyone in the state(and anyone moving to the state) because this place would be at the top.
Do yourself a favor and NEVER live here and tell everyone you know to not come here.
