Yes, the rent may be cheap in comparison to other apartment complexes. But let me tell you, it is not worth it. First of all the fancy gates do not always work. Sometimes when i'm trying to drive out, the gate wont even open and you have to drive around to the other side to get out of the complex. Parking is HORRIBLE. Especially if you get off work late at night. If Safety and Security are what you're looking for, then look somewhere else cause you aint gonna get it here.
It seems that there is a recurring theme of cars being broken into around here. Unfortunately this happened to me too. My passenger side keyhole was busted out, my stereo was stolen, my whole front dash of my car was ripped apart, and a few personal items were stolen as well. And of course no one saw or heard anything. You can put in all the work orders you want, they'll only fix what they want to fix and when they want to fix it.
Enjoy the cool air while you can cause once it hits summer time they keep ignoring requests to fix the air. I kid you not! Today i submitted my 3rd work order. First they told me that it had to be above 73 degrees outside before they're "obligated to fix it." Let me tell you I have to leave my balcony door and bedroom window open just to get some air. And yes i had to buy a fan. And at night it has reached a little over 80 degrees, i wake up sweaty.
The people that work here only care about collecting rent and evicting people when they dont pay rent. Which is another thing i cant understand, i've always paid my rent on time. And they treat me as though I'm stupid and try to give me the run around all the time. If you wanna live somewhere that takes more care of the lawn, the trash, and the parking lot, more than they take care of the needs of the tenants then this is the place for you. I just cant wait till my lease is up so i can move.
