My problems with Riverpark are with:
- the lengthy waits for maintenance
- poor communication between office staff and residents
- poor or no communication between office staff and the "answering service" (you will get the answering service more often than staff, and your calls are usually not returned.)
- shoddy/poor repairs when something needs to be fixed
My plumbing access is full of nails from an attempted fix. Yet the last time maintenamnce came through, they bondo'd the holes from the nails and just left the access hanging off of the wall, nails and everything. My sliding door handle is about to fall off. Both of my sinks leak. My kitchen sink does not have a guard for the disposal. There are roaches everywhere. I've lived in this building almost a week and none of the problems have been resloved.
Poor communication is a HUGE issue. No matter how specific I am, somehow things seem to get messed up. When I said both my sinks leak, maintenance came out the next day and tightened my shower head. The work order said the shower was leaking. Again, it wasn't.
My bedroom window has no seal around the egdes and no lock. I have no bar for my sliding door. My closet light has fallen out of the ceiling.
I need to reiterate that all of these things were wrong before I moved in, yet I was told they would be fixed. They have not been fixed. I moved from one building to another in Riverpark when my lease expired... total, I have lived here one year. I could not find an apartment with an opening near enough to my workplace, so I had to stay here. Rent went from $385/mo. to $474/mo. plus a $100 deposit fee yet again -even though if the office manager was sweet she could have simply charged me the $15 transfer fee. This apartment is worse than the one I had across the complex.
My carpeting on the stairs is not fixed to the stairs themselves! So..when you walk up or down you run the risk of the carpet sliding and throwing your footing off.
The grouting in the bathroom was not replaced and it's mildewy- it was before I moved in. The attic access is not sealed, so hot air pours into my closet. There is dark gooey something under the refrigerator and oven... I notified the office. It is still there.
Riverpark doesn't care. They don't respect their tenants. I don't recommend living here.
EDIT** After calling Case and Associates and going above Riverpark's management, all of the problems were fixed within one hour of our conversation. I recommend calling Case and Associates if you experience problems such as this. I couldn't believe how fast everything was taken care of.

thats terrible. i live in 7915 and i moved in here about a month ago and reported that every time you turn on the ceiling fan it spins like crazy within the first week i was there. i have yet to receive a call from them or anyone.
the answering service is a joke. i forgot to pay my bill this month and on the 4th, the last day to pay, i called them at 2 and they said they would have someone call me so that i can pay it over the phone. i waited till almost 6 and called the answering service and they said it was too late, that they close at 5. i told them that they were suppose to have called me but never did. they said there was nothing that they could do.
my biggest problem here is noise. there is always someone blairing their music. ive called the office about most of them but there is always someone else.
