I lived at the River Bridge Apartments (between 19th and 20th on Riverside) for two years. I loved everything about the area, except the parking.

The interior of each apartment is unique, but all have beautiful wood floors, cute kitchens, art deco bathrooms, designer paint colors and 11 windows. All apartments are 2 bedroom, 1 bath and perfect for a couple or a single person. The rent is amazingly reasonable, especially when you consider the location across from the River, The Rivers Edge and the proximity to downtown and Utica Square.

The owners are a friendly couple who know everyone by name and obviously value their apartment complex and its residents. The interiors of each apartment building are cleaned regularly and the outside courtyard comes compelete with chimineas (pinion wood provided by owners) picnic tables and a variety of grills.

The only things I did not like was the parking situation (covered parking spaces were entirely too narrow, and not enough parking) and the occasional homeless people that would pop up near the dumpster from time to time. However, even as a single female, I never felt uncomfortable.

All in all, I loved the complex and the great location! As a person who hates apt living and has never stayed in the same apt. for longer than 6 months, me living here for 2 years speaks for itself! I eventually moved out when I purchased a home.
