Definitely not my best living expirience but not the worst either. Maintenence may have to make several trip or may take several days to get to your issue. Not very good options to renew your lease. May be better to go month to month or move into a new place at the end of your lease. The new ownership came in about 1 month ago and one of the employees stole a table I had sitting outside. Most residents are nice but the complex charges you for water, but based on the complexes use, not your actual use. Some residents have 9 people in 1 appartment with one person listed on lease that pay less for water than me. It's just me and my wife on the lease and that is all that is living in my appartment (too bad I am an honest guy, I could have gotten a cheaper water bill). The leasing office will not do anything about this either. You would be better off listing only one person no matter how many live there.

I agree with this writer. And, it is much worse. ACtually, it is the attitude of the leasing office--they don't care--that is most troublesome.

Yadda-yadda. I lived there for a year. Water is charged on the units inside the building. Trust me, I got my neighbors "yellow card" one time and she was charged the same as me. The biggest complaint there is the gas unlike RiverPark which has total electric. My gas bill was horrible last winter during the incessant ice storms of 2006-07 which is why I moved to the south. I had nothing but good experiences at Riverchase, in fact, they were the first complex I ever lived in to contact me and offer my refund deposit back. While it was only $100, I always felt safe there and appreciated Victory Christian right down the road to give the kids an activity once a week when they came out as well as diffuse many criminal acts. The worst that happened to me at Riverchase was we parked on the side of the road (those of us that had Victor Ave addresses) and someone backed into my car one night and left without fessing up to what they did. Great rent prices, nice location next to ORL, Wal-Mart, and The Plaza in walking distance. Plusses vs. the negatives I'd still be there.

RIVERCHASE APARTMENTS are the upmost worst apartments that I have ever lived in. The staff is rude, maintenace is stupid and all other tenants are very scary. I am a single mom and worry for my children. I will NOT be renewing my lease.

To "Yadda-yadda". I have to say that you are wrong on a couple of points. I am the original poster and know for a fact that you are wrong about the water. I even addressed the manager at the leasing office and was told exactly what I said. My (ex) neighbor had 9 people living in one 2 bed apt., 5 adults and 4 children. I once got their water bill by accident and took it to the leasing office as proof because I was outraged. I asked them what they were going to do about because I knew there were 9 people living there. They told me there was nothing they could do because they only listed one person on the lease. This I know this for a fact because she showed it to me (which is a bit unethical if not illegal). For the other parts, I have a Victor address and I too park on the street, and the same has happened to me. Still have the large scrape on my bumper to prove it. As for the "nice" part, you must have lived here when Case owned it, because they were nice. I have not only caught a manager in a lie, but they were just plain rude and unsympathetic to any of my concerns. Not to mention the condescending attitude the managers seem to have, they also have clauses in their new lease that contradicts law. Like seizing your possessions, or requiring deposit for satellite dishes (please research before trying to call me out on this). I must say it has even gotten worse since I last posted. THIS APPARTMENT COMPLEX WILL FORCE YOU INTO A NEW LEASE IF THEY SEE A WAY POSSIBLE. I have gone month-to-month since Case owned it and I have paid their original price ($479 not including water) for rent for over a year. One day I got a letter from the office stating I had to sign a new lease for $499/month or choose to pay month-to-month for $50 on top of that months "market value" of $649! I understand this is legal, but that doesn't make it clean. On top of that, I had to choose in less than 30 days, which now doesn't give me an opportunity to move out because I am legally obligated to give a 30 day notice. Now that is DIRTY!!!!! I was forced into a lease because I unfortunately don't make enough to afford month-to-month here. I will be moving out in less than 2 months and I am counting down the days. DON'T GET TRAPPED LIKE I DID!!!
