Good Apartment Choice

As with all apartments you take the good with the bad and Riverside Park Apartments is no exception.
The Good:
1. Nice exterior and good apt floor plan.
2. Very friendly office and maintenance staff.
3. Everything is well taken care of and if problems arise, staff is there to take care of the problems.
The Bad:
1. About once every three months the shower knob breaks. Its plastic and cracks, leaving you to put in a maintenance request.
2. The Heat/AC is a "pump" system. It has its problems on very HOT and COLD days. Really wish they would spend the money on a true Heat/AC system but that is not going to happen. The pump system is more of an annoyance than problem. Just have to ensure you don't freeze up the pump.
3. Auto Thieft - Yes, cars get broken into but show me one apartment complex that does not! Personally don't leave things of monetary value in the seat or have a 700 dollar sound system and you will be fine.
4. Bugs can be a problem, esp when the river fills up with water and forces the bugs to higher ground. They apt complex has free bug spray service on Thursdays! Get a spray every other month or once a month during the rain season and you will not have a problem.
Over all, this apartment complex is very good for its price. The apartments are not new, but they also don't show their age as with some others further north. Its a good choice and one that I have been happy with since moving to Tulsa two years ago.
