Riverside Park Apartments

Wish more were like this one... From: AFGuy78 Date posted: 8/7/2006 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003   My wife and I lived and started our family at Riverside Parks. It was a wonderful time. Sure there were a few things that bugged us, but they have to be overlooked because all apartments have the same issues. Sometimes we could hear people out in the parking lot late at night, or nosiy fighting neighbors through our wall (only cause they were literally screaming at the top of their lungs), and the occasional bug. All these people saying that it was the worst time are either really high maintenance (in which case they should go to Vintage on Yale) or feel better about themselves when they ----- about others. As far as crime goes, in the 16 months that we lived there I don't EVER recall seeing cars broken into, and we used to walk around the apartments a lot. I like the park/water play area near the premises, and the outside storage closets. All in all I would recommend Riverside Parks to anyone. I did however have a problem between the managers and maintenance (surely not the same people there now). The main maint. guy, I think his name was Joe, was really cool. We're allowed to paint as long as we paint it back. Joe provided the paint-to easily match- and said we could paint it back. When I joined the military, Joe said he would paint it, not to worry since everything would have to be touched up to make like new. I thought great and let the managers know they day I left to go to basic. While in Basic my wife starts getting letters saying we owed them like $400 for the painting. I mean in a 1000 square foot apartment you shouldn't need that much. So we got it squared away with Equity and all is forgiven. So long story short: Take the apartment!
