My fiance has lived here for the past year. She has been noted as a "trouble maker" simply because she has pointed out obvious things that need to be fixed in her apartment and the complex.
#1 The apartment has flooded twice. The first time they did a horrible job of drying the place and a heavy mold smell stayed for many months and is still noticeable in the closets. The second time (currently in progress), they have done a decent job drying, but maintenance was slow to respond and the equipment has been left unchecked for three days. When the office personnel was asked about this, they did not know as they leave that up to the subcontractor and they do not do anything directly in trying to resolve or follow up on the issue. The subcontractors were not escorted either, which gave her an uneasy feeling, but the staff said it was standard practice and that they run back ground checks.
#2 My fiance is the reason there is a lock on the laundry room as some odd person, whom she found out has a record, was stealing and wearing personal items and was caught in the act. We had hoped that it would have ended her missing laundry, but she is still missing different clothing items (most noticeably is her underwear). So it is obviously a resident with a key that is now stealing laundry.
3# Security only seems to patrol in their car and does not get out to patrol the grounds. I could be wrong, but she has never seen them actually walk the property.
4# The staff is absolutely horrible. The do not seem to care one bit about doing their job. Anything that makes them work is a "problem" and causes them to give attitude. I have had to call on her behalf several times in order to deal with the staff. Just the other day one was being a complete b**ch concerning the most recent flood and it was due to absolutely no reason. And my fiance countered everything with a reason, the staff seemed to apologize but immediately started back up with her attitude if only to try to prove herself right.
5# Inconsiderate neighbors. I'm sorry, but going through the complex with your stereo blaring is just rude and its more than a handful of people. Also, several do not seem to yield or slow down as they drive through the complex with no regards to safety of others. It does not help that it is an open complex. Also, the walls seem thin at times and does not help if you have neighbors that stomp around.
6# parking is limited and close together. If you have a large vehicle, you will have problems. And it doesn't exactly make you feel safe on an open complex if you have to park far away at night.
Other General comments: Overall appearance if run down and kind of ghetto. Makes you want to make sure your door is locked at all times.

None of what you said surprises me, because it profiles 95% of the properties here in Tulsa, but I'm waiting for the day an angry resident decides to take his frustrations out on the office staff causing them. Mark my words ... it WILL happen eventually.
