"Okay" First Apartment

My apartment was nice...especially the brand new carpeting. Also, all of the appliances worked.

Maintenance was pretty fast at fixing problems...especially a couple of serious emergencies.

Problems' The manager was extremely rude and mean...I don't know if she's gone, but if she is...good! No one deserves to be treated like garbage.

The walls are paper thin. I lived in a one bedroom upstairs. I heard people beating up each other, kids crying and screaming, sex escapades, and lots of shouting. Sometimes, it was so loud that I couldn't even hear my tv set.

I really wanted to sit on my covered deck, but the old wood planks scared me. They should've been replaced with concrete years ago!

There was also a voyeur/exhibitionist that lived across from me who kept his curtains open ALL the time! I only kept my blinds half open because he creeped me out.

Don't even try going into the laundry room! If you are a woman, go with someone day and night because there are alot of men hanging around. Also, stay with your clothes because people would throw them on the floor if they needed an available washer or dryer.

The security gates are a BIG joke! The gate worked half the time. As a matter of fact, there were only gates in the front. The rest of the complex wasn't gated...you could bypass the gates simply by driving on the grass to the right of the entrance. If you had a motorcycle...even better!

What's even worse is the potholes inside the complex! You could drive into thousands of those craters and never be seen again! No one made an effort to patch things up. Last but not least, on the weekends, you'll really get a drivers' education by dodging all of the broken beer bottles scattered all around your car.

If you absolutely need a cheaper place to live on 31st street, this is okay. You get what you pay for.

P.S. Whatever you do, don't you dare even think about living at Observation Point Apartments...they're extremely gross, dirty, dangerous and ghetto! My sister lived there.
