I lived in Silverstone apts 7 yrs ago & had no problems @ all, but since I moved in 3 weeks ago I've had nothing but issues. I still haven't received my mailbox key & my garbage disposal doesn't work. I dropped off the 'move-in report' stating all that needed to be fixed after a week of living here & still no resolve. As I type this my sink in the kitchen is overflowing from the dishwasher. I can't believe how bad this place has become. I even dropped off my rent check this a.m. w/a note to Renee, the manager, & she has yet to do anything I've requested.

Your dilemma puzzles me, because I wouldn't stand for indifferent attitudes long enough for it to escalate into a clogged sink, nor would I sign a rental contract before I was absolutely sure of everything. That's what makes me think that you bring it on yourself. I'm not saying that your grievances aren't justified. I know what rundown dumps these poorly managed complexes have tuned into, but skip the incompetents in the office and contact the corporate office of the company that employs them, and you'll get action, I guarantee it. I proved that to myself last year and my email not only resolved the issue, it cost the manager and her leasing agent their jobs.

My husband and I were one of the neighbors of this person that wrote this review and yes they brought this problem on themself. You ought to have heard the fighting and arguing that came from this apartment (I really felt sorry for the kids). We were so surprised when they moved out because they had only been here maybe 1 month. I later learned that they were evicted very shortley after moving in. Thank goodness because we were going have to move out or ask to move to a different apartment.
To GenePoole: I noticed you put a response to ALOT of apartment ratings. When you talk about rundown dumps and poorly managed complexes don't lump them all together. Silverstone is one of the niceset complexes on this side of town and they do everything they can to make sure it stays that way. You did not get this manager and the leasing agent fired so you might make sure which complex you are talking about and not lumping them all together. I have lived here for almost 2 years and have had the same manager since I have been here. The neighbors all look out for each other and we have always felt safe and any maintenance have been taken care of very quickly.

^ OBVIOUSLY written by OFFICE STAFF!!! And if you had read GenePoole's comment correctly, you'd notice that they did not claim to get the staff of THIS apartment complex fired, but rather the staff of THEIR apartment complex.
