Bad place to live From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/3/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   Sundance apartments suck. I was having problems with the a/c and we told them about it. And all the damn maintenance people did was put more freon in it thats always their answer for the a/c not cooling down. There is no reason that any a/c should have to have that much freon put in (in a 2 or 3 month time span). This happened in March. Then again in June I believe. In July it got much worse. One Sunday night we called the 24 hour maintenance people and they never came. We called 3 or 4 times that night and each time the lady had a good responce like saying he got the work-order. Well he never showed even after calling us and saying he would be here by 9pm. The problem went on. Sundance said they were sorry and said they didnt know why no one showed up and were sorry. I came home Monday and it was 90 degrees in my apartment. It took a lot of us calling and complaining. I thought that we had the finally made it clear that it was hot and needed the a/c fixed but here it is and its still getting hot in here. I know its not going to be perfect but it shouldnt be reaching almost 90 every damn day when the a/c is set on 70-72 degrees. In conclusion this place sucks. The workers are rude and dont care about anything like they say. They really dont care bc they are in an cooled clubhouse all day. All they say is they are trying their best. I personally think they could do a lot better and show people more respect. Rent is 400 and something a month and we pay a damn high electric bill and we dont even get to enjoy any of it. If you rent here you are just wasting your money. This place is very ------ not to mention that the apartment below is has had a few reports about leaking from ours. there are no porch lights and they really need to fix the a/c instead of adding freon every 2-3 months. So needless to say at the end of the lease I'll be leaving these apartments. Oh and they are owned by Case and Associates and I would recommend not picking any apartments owned by them.
