An ok place, but not a home

My husband and I rented a 1 bedroom townhouse as our first apartment home.
The toilet was constantly broken and required numerous visits.
The same part had to be replaced several times because it was incorrectly installed.
The scent of the previous homeowners never left the place.
(It smelled like cigarette smoke and lasagna.)
The floors upstairs felt as if they were going to cave in at any moment.
Also, the walls were paper thin, and we heard the neighbors arguements frequently.
The neighborhood children ran around our apartment in droves and were frequently rude when you asked them to not sit on your cars.
Also, the adults sat on your cars as well unless you asked them to get off.
Though it was not a horrible place to live, it wasn't worth the money to live in this apartment complex.
