We absolutely loved our apartment. My husband and I transferred from OKC and had to pick an apt fast. The lakes 2 bed townhome was adorable and the management seemed nice. We had a good experience until summer came around. We had chosen a building close to the pool and what a mistake. There were people SKINNY DIPPING all night and making lots of racket. The security was a joke. They would come and tell them to leave and then not check back. People pretended to go home and then hopped the fence again and commenced the party. We were expecting a baby and after the first summer of nothing but gun shots and sirens we decided to move asap when our 12 month lease expired. The winters were good. We heard lots of crime but never really witnessed any unless you count the skinny dippers. We had some strange neighbors but also so nice ones. If you rent there, stay on the side of the road that the leasing office is and don't rent by the pool. People would steal carts from wal mart and leave them on my patio. Ducks poop everywhere by the way! The management was nice. We've never had a problem with case management but as for the property itself...i think it's just bad location. Great on the inside though.
