case management only wants your money

We have lived in The Lakes for 3 yrs.
In the 3 yrs we have lived here, we have had our car broke into 6 times.
It's not even that nice of a car and there is nothing left to steal.
And the office had the audacity to tell us it is our fault for owning a Honda with no alarm.
The "courtesy patrol" does not patrol unless you are having a barbeque.
Otherwise, when there are crimes being commited, they are no where to be found.
The apartments are livable, but usually have alot of annoying problems like toilets running, loose carpet and air conditioners freezing up, even when you HAVE NOT turned it on.
And then the maintenance accuses you of turning it on and it's your fault, never thiers.
If you live on east side of complex, Walmart carts and children everywhere and on the west side loud because of Riverside traffic and groups of people outside playing loud music and drinking in the parking lot, most of which don't even live here.
Speaking of traffic, you can never get out off of Wheeling onto 81st, usually because there is an accident at least once a week.
I would say the biggest issue for us is how rude the office people are.
When you speak with management, they are all rude and snotty and condescending.
They could at least pretend to care, for customer service sake.
I've even seen them be rude to tennants while signing new ones up.
Too much money for not enough.
The only reason we have stayed here this long is convenience and laziness, hate to move.
Putting in our 30 days and not a moment too soon.
