I have to say I LOVED the Lakes @ first, but after my first year of living there and with management turnover's the customer service and maintenece was TERRIABLE!!! I had to call NUMEROUS times to have appliances fixed in my apartment before they finally got smart and just replaced them-only after I called the main office though! My water bill used to average about $15-20 a month and then they changed companies and it jumped to $30 a month and this is just with a dishwasher and regular showers--no washer and dryer! My sister's house water bill is lower than mine! The one good thing is that when AEP goes out, it usually comes back on quickly because of the casino across the street!
