The Lakes is a nice apartment complex for a very cheap price. Our truck was broke into and we did loose a lot of tools making us wish we were in a gated community. Four of our neighbor's apartments and countless vehicals were also broke into. We lived in a one bedroom townhouse and loved the apartment! It was roomie and perfect. We never had a problem with maintaince but did have a problem with bugs. Lots of bugs. However after talking to some of the other building residents we discovered that our build was the only building with this problem. Other people have said that Case and associate normally have bug problems. I don't know for sure. The turn-over rate of their management was totally aweful, we still had time to get to know everyone in the office right before they left. They seem to have a good team there now but the bugs and the safety issue is just too much to sign another lease with them. I will say I never want to rent from Case and Assoc. again. They are just too big to have a personal touch. It was a nice 1st apartment for my husband and I. But we will live and learn. Another tip is there are places for cheaper, but less space that include a washer & dryer. This one included hookups and said that you could put a full size washer and dryer in there but when we went to move in only the washer would fit. They then told us that only a small washer and dryer could fit. Maybe that was our fault for not asking. There is plenty of room in the 2 bedroom apartments.
