Living at Wellsford Oaks was one of the worst experiences of my life! My apartment and my car were both broken into!! I lost everything!! It is a very bad area to live in..True crime can happen anywhere, but living there just increases your chances by 100% I am 34 years old had never had my car or home broken into in my life, but while living there both happens in less then 6 month period..and it happened to several others that live there as well..SO BEWARE!! look at the crime rate in that area versus other areas before you rent!!!!!!!!!!! To make it all worse the office staff are sooo uncaring..they could truly care less!!! I'm just glad I'm out of there..another thing to think about, hope you don't plan to use the pool in the evening if you do move in because the gates are always open, and the ghetto kids from the projects just across the road will all be at the pool..which makes for a very unpleasant time!! Not to mention in this unsafe area the parking is horrible you have to walk a block sometimes more to get from your car to your apartment!! drive through at night check it out..you will see!!
