BEWARE! The office charged me AND the person living next to me, RIDICULOUS fees for no reason. When I confronted them about it, they told me that they would get back to me about it but they never did... That's when I knew that something was going on. The maintance guys were ALWAYS standing around doing nothing. Walking down by the river is nice, but the disadvantages outweighed the advantages by far for me!!! Before I signed the lease, they were very nice & it seemed like everything was going to be perfect, but then the DAY that i signed my lease.. everything changed! And to top all of that off-- there is a resident that has been living here for quite awhile and everytime that someone parks in his parking place, he spits on the car!!!! Several people have complained but they won't do ANYTHING because they said he's been a resident here for so long! Before I moved here, the leasing office told me that the train (that goes around the outskirts of westport) never came through at night & that I wouldn't have any problems sleeping--- which didn't happen because the train comes through ALMOST every night blowing the horn as loud as it can go! AND the train would sometimes stop right in front of the entrance gate.. causing people to sit there for over 15 minutes! I literally threw a party the day I left Westport on the River because all of that stress that they gave me are gone now:)
