I've been going over some of these reviews and I must be living in a different complex (with the same name and address). I've found maintenance to be very responsive and competent. Most calls responded to within 24 hours, one weekend we had a plumbing emergency and someone was here in 15 minutes -- ON A SUNDAY!! The fitness center is great and the 24 hr. business center is a Godsend for making copies and sending faxes. The office staff has always been courteous and professional and I have never witnessed any examples to the contrary. The river views are second to none here and the convenience to downtown and the expressways are ideal. There are apartment complexes in town that are newer but charging 25-50% higher rent. My partner and I have no plans to move from Westport on the River anytime soon. bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC

I agree with Carterin. I've lived here twice the first time for 5 years and this time I've been here 2 years. Maintenance is very good. I love the river and downtown view, and the close locations to the Riverparks, expressways, Brookside and Cherry Street areas. The rent seems a bit high, but most apartments I've looked at don't include a washer and dryer, so perhaps that is the difference. My only complaints are that the appliances in my apartment, especially the microwave is old (dial knob type) as is the washer and dryer, but they still work. I've noticed the past year the apartment's exterior is needing to be repainted and I noticed a small section of an apartment has been painted a different color. I'm assuming they are trying out the color and I don't care for the new colors. When I originally moved here the colors were the same as now only opposite trim was darker and base was lighter then in approx. 1998 or 1999 they painted the way it is now. Also, due to time and the ice storms, the parking lots need resurfacing. And my last complaint is that people are still letting their dogs run loose without a leash even though notices have been given out to have their pets on a leash at all times. Several times of late, I've had one or two large dogs come running up to me out of nowhere and the owner comes up aways behind carrying a leash. Even though the dogs may be friendly, I don't appreciate that the owners aren't following the apartment and city laws regarding animal ordinances.
