From day 1 I've had issues with this apartment complex. The first sign should have been them "forgetting" about a walkthrough appointment I had set 2 weeks in advance. I was hoping that it was just a misunderstanding but I was wrong. The new manager is no better than Leslie was, so don't get your hopes up. Things that were supposed to be fixed when I moved in still are not a month later, and I am now moving out due to the fact that I am not allowed to smoke outside or with the door/windows open. The neighbors call the apartment cop on me every time claiming that smoke is getting into their apartment and causing "health issues". The only way I am allowed to smoke at all is if I close all my vents and put a towel around the door to keep all the smoke in my apartment. The other major annoyance is the smoke detectors. I can't bake french fries, pizza, or spill water on a hot burner without the smoke detectors going off. And yes, everytime it happens the neighbors call and complain. If I turn music on at a comfortable volume in the middle of the afternoon it takes 10 minutes before I get a cop at my door. Vicky and Leslie refuse to work with me or even move me to a different apartment claiming that they don't have to accomodate for my "oddities". I guess they don't care that I understand about apartment living and don't call in to complain everytime I hear the neighbor kids running up and down the halls screaming and making my walls vibrate. I would say the only people who should move in are people with lots of kids, that don't smoke, and don't mind nosey neighbors who will complain enough to get you kicked out 2 weeks after you move in if they don't like you.
