I have posted my thoughts about this place only to be attacked by someone else who lives here. For the most part the people are nice here. But here is my first posting that seems to make people mad, this is how I see it, and how I feel.
I lived here for only a few months. We were told water included, we got a bill. One day the pool was locked, we thought ok they are shocking it, less then two weeks later they locked but put up a sign saying that it was closed AGAIN due to some one throwing FECES into it, thanks for telling us the first time. My stove didn't bake; the lights on the grounds flashed or are broken. There is a gang of tweens running around screaming obscenities at each other. There are LOTS of bands playing music into the nights, so it's loud all the time. The grounds are kept very well, but my cats got flees from living there, they are inside cats. They do spray for bugs, but they don't use a company, some {very smelly} kid comes by and does it, entering empty apartments ALONE. And it's a "gated" community and the gates NEVER work, talked with long time residents, they said never worked. So basically it's a well polished turd. Ps- pet deposit is CRAZY!

Ok so now you dont like it when people do not agree with you. This shows you and everyone else how un-valid your claims are. Ive lived hear for over 3 years and have seen a change for the better. The Bug guy is very nice and does a good job. Gates ARE working. If you bothered to talk with the maintanence staff you would know they close the pool at least a 1/2 day a week to make sure chemicals are good. They told me the feces was a one time thing. Have you called the courtesy officer to complain about the noise? AGAIN, get your info right before you post.

Hey Anonymous, Are you talking to yourself? The idea behind the site is to rate apartments, and every responce I get an e-mail, is't not like I'm checking it, or it's my home page, but you keep coming on here and being crazy. As I said before this is just how I see it. If you want to rate it yourself. Don't attack me for having my own feelings. And as for my name, I don't have to tell you, and I would not beacuse of how insane your posts are, I would really like not to be attacked in person.

I assure you when I wrote my response to you (that seems to have been deleted) it was not in an effort to attack your thoughts. I was sincerely trying to help you think of some other possibilities and to give you some friendly suggestions. I thought I got that accross in that message, so I'm writing you again to assure you I had the best of intentions. The one who responded to you anonymously could have responded to your message in another way, but they didn't...and that is okay to. Everyone has the right to express their vies on here. That is what this site is all about. However, I don't think it is okay to verbally attack someone. That's just me. You have every right not to like what you have experienced. I truly hope that long before your lease is up that things would have improved. I just see this place as a nice stopping place before we get our house. Highland Pointe is a far cry from Section 8 housing. The interior and exterior are really nice with normal outside problems (grumpy, impersonal office staff (excluding the maintenance staff), noisy kiddos and other residents). Hope things get better for you all around.

Anonymous, First of all if you have a problem, and don't sign your name, you are a CHICKEN. Get a life or a hobby. There is not alot of us residents who sit around all day and write complaints on a site and wait for replys. (And start your process over again) That is a sad life. As for Highland Pointe, I really like it here and all the residents are very nice. They have a great office staff that are very friendly, and the matainence men are also friendly and do a good job. The pool is well kept and so are the grounds. So, if you have great staff and matainence, a pool well kept, good neighbors, and beautiful site, go bash some other complex.

just to back everyone up, the gates do not work half of the time, the pool was closed for a good few days due to the feces issue and the letter did say it happened more than once, but this is an apartment community, when you have so many different people living in such a tight knit place there are going to be difference of opinion. There are going to be maintenance issues at some point w/ someone as everyone is not always happy with results. I guess what I am trying to say is be thankful for no matter it could be a lot worse. I lived here and I don't seem to have the same problems as the person who seems to think this is such a horrible place to live. These apartments did not give your cat fleas, if you talk to any vet in the state they will tell flea infestation is an all time high and you can carry them inside your home to your animals on you clothing..oh well, not trying to pick on anyone just offering a different view on things...everyone have a great day

johnny_wadd impressive screen name im sure your xbox steves @ss pilot. what you said had no relevance to anything. Good riddance you stain? u must be one of the grounds keepers. I used to go to a vocational school and it was quite obvious where the mentally challenged kids took there vocational eductaion and that was buildings and grounds maintenance. Im gald you could fullfill your meaningless existence by plumbing backed up feces and ------ painting projects and poor drywall and carpentry work to help keep you part of this society that rejects you. Enjoy your puny salary and your s}{itty 250k mile clunker automobile cause as long as your employed as a maintenance man youll always have those pissed off feelings when you come into my apartment spraying for the bugs you cant seem to kill and see what fine things i possess, and as you happen to snoop over my payroll slip sitting on the counter, let it boil in that your job fuking sucks and your in a deadend existence and you should probably throw yourself in front of traffic, you pathetic little worm, frequenting these blogs to make yourself feel better. 1031 was merely expressing their frustration and sharing with others so they can avoid s}{it stains like you and the "Grounds" you so maintain. I am currently looking for an apartment. And with you people on here being so mean to each other, it just shows me what kind of neighbors i would have... I am gonna have to pass on this one... Also i really don't care if you respond to this saying "well we don't want you here then..." This person has a right to express her point of view w/o all of you jumping in. so 2 words for you guys.... GROW UP!
