My husband and I moved here in July of 2008 hoping to get away from the big city life of Houston, and to finish school. We were not able to visit Oklahoma to look for apartments, but found this one online, and it was the nicest in the area. We got here and all was good...until we started doing our pre-move in check list. There was a window in our 2nd bedroom with a HUGE crack in it that was letting water drip in...it didn't get fixed until last week (last wk of December). Our light fixture in our closet has a LAYER of dead crickets in it...its DISGUSTING! Our door is not sealed properly, so our power bill is outrageous ($150/month) due to the heater constantly being on. Jazmin in the front office is just plain RUDE! She seems to act like she is better than everyone else. The trash is always piled up downstairs, and they DONT pick it up everyday like they said. People also throw stuff out without it being bagged, so my dogs will get chicken bones and I'm scared they are going to get hurt. Trash blows all over the complex. Beware if you have a smoker about you, the bushes will look covered in snow b/c of all of the cigarette butts everywhere. I wanted to get a garage, and when I opened it to park, it was full of someone elses stuff. The people above us stomp around VERY loudly at all hours of the night, and I kid you not at 12am last night it sounded like they were freaking bowling! the people behind us smoke inside their apartment and somehow ours ends up smelling like cigarette smoke. This place is disgusting. the neighbors are rude, the staff is rude. I could go on and on an on about this place. I'm so happy I am moving back to Houston in July...I can't wait to get out of this desolate wasteland. only good part about this place, is its easy to park.


oh yeah, and don't count on having a pantry or microwave.

Trashing blowing around, remember you live in OKLAHOMA, things are always blowing around. Sounds like going back to Houston is a great idea for you. I've been a tenent at Highland Pointe for over a year, and I really like it here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Maybe you are the problem there. Move-on girl!!!!
