My husband and I, along with our two young children, lived at the links for a little over a year before moving into a house. The management has always been very helpful and friendly and they allowed us to extend our lease past a year while our house was being built. Although we did have to pay a little extra a month, it wasn't a huge amount.
The grounds are very nice and well-taken care of. The golf course is absolutely beautiful, much nicer than some public courses in the area. The pool/fitness center was well-kept as well.

Maintenance was fairly quick and efficient, although you did have to submit requests in person, fax, or through email, rather than over the phone.
We have never had issues with parking but had friends living there that did. Although the community isn't gated, we never felt unsafe, even walking around late at night. Most of the tentants there are in their late 20's and older and noise was never an issue, although we did live upstairs.

Our biggest complaint was that they did not allow you to use Cox cable, instead you were forced to go with their Lindsey Communications "cable" (basically bootleg version of Dish) which was very unreliable, with certain channels staticy or louder than others.

Overall, our experience there was good, much better than previous apartments. I felt as if the rent was reasonable, considering the golf course, fitness center, swimming pool, spa, and tanning are all included in the price.

Lame!!! You should be honest and tell people how horrible that place really is. We just got a final bill from them charging us for two new burners that were in perfectly good condition and a new toilet seat.
