I currently live here and was very sorry I signed a new lease. Lorraine is in fact a horrible manager. Her people skills leave a LOT to be desired. Her answer when dealing with tenants haveing problems with other tenants is to call the police, regardless of what the problem is! She doesnt care that this is an abuse of the system that will take time away from citizens that are truly in a real crisis. She is passing the buck instead of actually taking the time to do her job. This is a manager that sends memos asking tenants to help her police the pool & grounds because their cameras dont always work. She has out of the blue made a rule that kids cant ride skateboards anymore because some of the kids were using them to damage property, instead of taking the time to find out who was doing it she made a rule banning it for anyone to ride- even wave boards that cant damage curbs like a skate board does. I have seen her walk up to kids and take their skatebords away. for the same 3 bedroom apartment there are some tenants who get regular rent increases and some who havent had their rent raised for 3 years! my neighbor has the same apt as I do and I pay $75 more a month than she does!
Parking does suck, forget it if you actually have friends that want to visit, they have to gample on coming out to find that their car got towed even if it is in an unmarked space. You have to plan ahead to get a parking pass while the office is open and know the info on your future visitors car! There goes those drop in visits!
To top it all off- our newly remodeled clubhouse is rapidly being destroyed by punk teenagers that frequent the rec room getting in with their punk friends who live there and let them in, I have smelled pot smoke and saw them drinking in there while trying to enjoy the pool with my kids,
This complex used to be great with the old managers here, its too bad they retired, they have been sorely missed.
