Please read these comments. I really wish I would have before I moved here. I really want to save anyone from all the headaches I have had to go through. I have lived in other apartments and this one really is the worst ever! Im not a negative person. I know living in an apartment you are going to have pros & cons, noise and all that. I have lived in many before, but honestly, these really are bad!
My 6 month lease will be up on April 1st and I cant move out of here fast enough.
So where do I begin....
When first viewing the apartment, I noticed they let off a air freshener bomb. I THOUGHT this was protocol, after leasing the apartment and moving in, that night I realized whomever lived there before me, must have smoked non-stop because the apartment reeked horribly of cigarettes. Ill make a long story short. After complaining, they brought in their Ozone machine that would for sure take out the smell in 2 hours (so I was told by the Manager), yeah, no, had to fight with them and hired an outside company to come in and run a large professional machine for 72 hours(which the complex did finally pay for)and I STILL smell smoke. However, it is better, but I did have to clean the walls, clean the horrible dirty blinds, and clean the carpet myself. They did finally admitted that they did not paint or replace the carpet before I moved in. Now let's talk noise! My neighbors, whom I like to call "The Drunks" NEVER use their back deck to drink and smoke cigarettes, noooooo, they like to sit out front, drink and talk loudly all night.
Then there is the garage below my bedroom, that unfortunately wasnt available to me, so now I hear the garage door open all times of the day and late at night. It honestly is loud like a freight train! The renter seems to enjoy spray painting in it and can never seem to get the door cracked just right for air, so he opens and closes it numerous times just to get that right spot!
The manager is HORRIBLE!!!! She truly does not care about her tenants. There is only one gal in the office I like, Erin. She is very sweet, but that's it.
It's very sad because these could be really nice apartments, but THEY ARE NOT!!!!

I agree. Erin is ok but an airhead. Other wise everyone else is cheater and lier. Money hungry pigs. Don't blame the management since they probably are just rude robots as much as I do blame UDR - the company that owns this property. Money hungry freaks. NEVER WILL RECOMMEND ANYONE, I'D RATHER WALK ON FIRE THAN LIVE HERE.
