Haste makes waste is an old cliche. I filled out an app & paid my $99 holding deposit & app fee. I should have done more research first. After all of the bad reviews and horrible stats on the Beaverton police log (http://beavertonpolice.org/legal/privacy.html), I changed my mind the next day (which is well within my rights). The genius said "no problem, we'll refund everything right away". I find out later that this woman was fired and never told anyone that I wasn't moving in. They held the apt in my name for two weeks while it was "renovated" and then couldn't reach me because I changed my cell # to a local #. They scared the ---- out of my mom, who was my emergency contact. They said a refund would be in the mail in 2-3 weeks. 10 1/2 months later - no $$$. It's a fun game I play by calling these -------s once a month. They always say "someone will call you back" - but no one ever does. The "ghost" mgr is never available. It's becoming more common that when a new "management" team comes in they slap on some cheap paint & spackle, change the complex name and voila!!! it's remodeled and brand new. These people are crooks and ignorant scum. But hey as long as the owner of the complex is making a fat profit - that's all that matters.
