When we chose this place last May, we were impressed with the clubhouse and the model apartment. When we were given the keys to our place and went inside, I was a little disappointed. Within a week, we had ants and cockroaches in our kitchen and bedrooms. The parking is too far away from our front door, which makes bringing in groceries and our small children a bigger issue than it should be. We can rarely have guests over because there are virtually no extra parking spaces. A tenant across the way from our building sits outside on his porch in his underwear, drinking beer, smoking, and playing his guitar way too loudly. We can hear our upstairs neighbors whenever they have sex.
It typically takes maintenance 3 weeks to get around to anything. I've been told numerous times that maintenance would be coming by at a certain time on a certain day and they never show up.
We are going to be leaving here within a month because of the health hazard in our apartment. There is mold growing in every window, up the walls in our bathroom, up the walls in our bedroom, on the wall behind our stove, and now we can't even use our 2nd bathroom because of the strong moldy odor. We can smell it, but we can't see it. It's growing in the walls. We notified the management and were told that they are going to have to rip out our walls, but they can't guarantee that it won't come back. The staff basically implied to me that it would be in our best interest to move elsewhere, but without coming right out and saying it. I can't recommend a place where even the staff doesn't seem to think it's safe and healthy.
All in all, way too expensive for a health risk.
