One of these days we are going to have to do something about these "Screening" companies who discriminate against people who dont look to be what they would consider "perfect" renters. We go look at this place which is actually a step down from where we live now, but would have been a more convenient location for my girlfriends new job. The chick takes us on the "tour" and it's just a cheap little one bedroom apt. with old appliances and dirty stairwells. Nothing special about it. Their initial screening process is rude. They go over your personal info right there in front of you and whoever else might be sitting there in the waiting room. So if something pops up on their little computer that they consider "questionable", they let you know right away. Wrong answer folks! That's not how you conduct business. Anyway, i've got a couple misdemeanor assault charges on my record so they denied us. "We dont want that kind of thing around here" she says. NEWSFLASH!!! It's none of your business!! But that's the way it is in our "FREE" country now. No privacy. But if you're name is Mr. Rogers, and your wife is Marry Poppins, then you might be able to rent here! Good luck.

What's really sad is that some idiot like you here's the word "assault" and automatically thinks the worst. These rental companies put everyone in the same basket without giving a damn about the details. If you really knew anything about MISDEMEANOR assault, then you would know that you can be convicted of it without actually ever putting your hands on anyone! Which is the case here. But that's ok little girl, just keep siding with the new "Thought Police" in this country like a good little sheep, and one day you'll wake up with you're own problem and nobody will give a damn. LOL
