Great place to live except when you move out!

The apartment was immaculate when I moved in - very, very clean, with brand new carpeting. The leasing office was very responsive and flexibe, and made sure to let me see the exact apartment I was renting before finalizing the lease. Most importantly, the apartment is nearly silent. I rarely hear my neighbors. We did have some trouble with an attempted theft of my husband s bicycle, which he left locked on a bike rack, but that could happen anywhere. Overall, I feel very secure here, and I love the neighborhood - lots of walking trails and good shops and restaurants.
Update: Several months after we moved out, I received a letter from a collection agency. Cambridge Crossing was charging me $300 in cleaning fees, despite my having left the apartment nearly spotless. When it was inspected, they found a hair in the bathroom and some crumbs in the over and that was it! I have no idea how that cost $300 to clean. Plus, they never bothered sending us bills, and just sent it to a collection agency after three months which hurts our credit. Really, really shady practice, and although I liked living there, I wouldn't rent from this company again.
