plenty of parking, 2 spaces for every appartment, and a covered reserved spot for $15 a month, parking lots are lit.
i have heard some noise in the stair wells, mostly the neighbor's teenagers playng music rather loudly, but it was muffled even in the stair well. have heard no neighbor noises from inside my apartment unless the windows were open.
grounds are well kept, grass kept short. there is a creek that runs by some of the apartments, it is pretty. there are little animals in the creek, nutrias, related to beavers. some potted plants near doorways, very nice.
the only safety thing i can think of is the little kid (maybe 3) who rides his scooter in the parking lot paying no attention to the cars, as if he was made of steel or as if cars can see him. i'm going to stop him and ask where he lives so i can have a word with his mother.
it is generally built well, though some of the baseboards are coming loose from the walls. also, it looks like it was painted by an amature, i could have done a better job. boards used for shelving are warped, bottoms of cabinets and cupboards are warped. there are new windows and window frames throughout. the air conditioner is old but works if doors and windows are kept shut during the day and opened at night.
the maintenance staff is very good, they have fixed things for me promptly, and well. they are also polite.
Deb, the manager, is very nice. i know she has my interests at heart. she is more than a manager, she is also a friend.
