Honestly, I am an absolute beast about customer service and quality, and this place was pretty good. Now, granted, they made their share of mistakes and I got screwed once, but it was only once. A few of their mistakes:
We were set to rent a two bedroom, one bath, first floor apartment and got a phone call on the day we were supposed to move in saying that the apartment wasn't ready yet. Well, I had everything we owned in the back of a u-haul and were on our way there. I told them they either had to give us an apartment equal to or better than the apartment we had been promised, or pay for our storage and a hotel room. Well, they got us a third floor apartment that was very nice.
However, due to confusion about who was going to alert PGE about our power bill, and the fact that we are on automatic debit, Centerpointe ended up paying our electric bill for 6 months without us or them realizing it. Of course, they came after us for it when they realized it. However, we also got stuck for a month of the bill in the apartment we never lived in. While they offered to fix that problem if we could come up with all the documents, and PGE was being less than helpful, since it was only $80, I just let it go.
Before we moved, we were offered a renewal of our lease for a $50 rent hike which, considering we were paying the same rate as we would have in a lesser apartment, we thought as reasonable.
Bottom line: These are good, comfortable apartments in a central location, close to the max. If you keep on the management, they correct mistakes. If you need maintenance stuff done, you can do it online and I recommend doing that. I called several times for things to be fixed and it never happened. I made a request online and it was done the next day. It's a good complex. If we didn't move out of state, we would have stayed.
