I can't believe someone wrote that the staff wasn't there for you during the outage. They were in the office wrapped in blankets holding flashlights! They stayed there for us with no light, no heat, no outside contact. Did you stop in there for assistance' Did you assume they were closed because the lights were out' Or did you try to call and not get an answer. Hello, No electricity.
Dog crap is a problem everywhere I've been. It's not management, it's your neighbors. The staff has worked with me the best they can. When I could describe the dog, they did their best to look up the owner. I haven't had any trouble with it since.
About the mail, I wasn't getting my blockbuster movies. I didn't go and harrass the staff. I called the post office. After reporting the problem, I've had no delays since. I just assumed it's common sense to ask your local carrier before assuming the staff misplaced your package. Anytime I do have a package in the office, there's a note left for me from the carrier.
By the way, there's a difference between mildew and mold. I understand we pay to make this our home, and when something doesn't go our way it's frustrating, but atleast get your facts right. I haven't seen either.
I love it here. I love my floor plan, so much space. I love my view. I love that I don't have to pay extra for a carport! I love that maintenance responds so quickly. They are always polite and professional. The staff in general is very friendly, and the manager is very knowledgeable and understanding.
I recommend to everyone, don't just judge based on the reviews of someone whos probably mad when they didn't pay rent on time... Come see for yourself!

Well Said. I would have to agree with every point that was made. Why is Management at fault when dog owners are lazy, or when the post office can't deliver a package to the right place. Why is it that when something (out of the control of the management) goes wrong it's their fault. What would you do if you owned a home and some dog owner let their dog crap in your yard. Would you call you Mortgage Company to come clean it up. NO-I would hope not. Come on people have some commom sense. Quit complaining. If you don't like Apartment living go buy a house. I went to the management office when the power was out during regular business hours and there was a SIGN on the door stating that "They were closed due to the power outage and to call the PGE update line" and it listed the 1800 number to call. I agree that dog crap is a problem everywhere, and I do also agree that it is my neighbors and not the management. However, when one of the neighbors is not doing as they are supposed to (as per the lease!) It is then the managements job to take care of it! To just leave the dog crap laying around after knowing that the dog owners are not taking care of it is just not acceptable!! I have complained about dog poo out front for weeks now and it is STILL there. I pay rent here, I have a right to complain thank you very much!

This person must have had a nice view. My view was a dirty parking lot and an overgrown field. If I looked out on it at the right time I could see sex and drug deals going on! This was written in 2007 and a lot has changed since this person wrote! Management and maintenance changed several times in the year that I lived there and it is horrible now.

I like it here, and like everywhere you go there are problems... I will renew my lease, despite the noise carrying through thin walls --- I am happy and feel safe in my unit which IS spacious. We live in a second floor unit and hear all the noise, but hey that is life.... as long as it's minimal and not gunshots and fighting - it's nice to know families are going about with their routines.
