I live here & I'm satisfied with my apt, the grounds, staff, neighbors & location. It appears to me the mgmt co., Equity Residential, has standards & expectations they uphold & enforce. In response to the previous entry, I find those remarks very questionable & slanted/not at all fair or true. I do agree that sometimes tenants create problems, but I know from experience mgmt addresses those problems quickly. Country Gables is one of the nicest places to live.

Wait until you have lived their awhile! When i moved in 2006 management was very attentive at first, then the honeymoon is over. I had an upstairs neighbor that would let their kids run up and down the hall at all hours of the night and it sounds like the ceiling is going to cave in. I talked to the neighbors myself and after several times that didn't work, I talked to management and they would not do anything. I moved in Dec 2006 and am breaking my lease to move out NOW! After the first year we got a rent increase of $125! The walls are so thin you can practically hear people breath. Our bathroom ceiling leaks water from the neighbor upstairs, but when notified, nothing is done about it. I am just waiting for the ceiling to fall on the floor. My apartment has a strange smell and it seems to be coming from the kitchen sink (which plugs up at least once a month) I pour bleach down the drain and do not keep garbage under the sink and it still smells. People parking in wrong places. They park in the middle of the driveway, behind parked cars, in no parking areas and just create their own parking spot wherever they want. They are not careful drivers either, I have almost gotten hit several times. I have called the security number and they do not respond. There is also a big problem with kids on bikes, skateboards and scooters. They will not get out of the way when you try to drive through. I call the office to complain and they won't do anything about it unless I give them a name and apt number. The management does not seem to care about their tenants at all. Now we are starting to have a transient problem. There is a large over grown field back where my apt is and a transient has been found sleeping under my bedroom window at least twice. When I talked to the management about it, their response was it is not their problem. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
