When I first found Fountain Park, I thought it was a good deal. A large apartment, really close to where I worked. I soon found it to be a real nightmare. They only give you a 4 day grace period to get your rent check in, where typically it's anywhere from 7 to 15 days.

Maintainace is awful. I put in two requests (each with several reminders before they even showed up) to have my leaking toilet fixed. It was never repaired and now the floor is warped. Touch ups used around the apartment are cheap tricks, including the painting of the inside of the bathtub--it started peeling around the drain.

The grounds are a mess. Very poor drainage, leaving a sea of deep mud everywhere. Mail boxes have no paved path to them, with stumps and low bushes blocking the dirt path. Poor lightning.

Some floor plans are bizzare--odd bathroom arrangements with the toilet in a tiny closet and two sinks (one of which never had any water pressure).

Most of complex population is imagrants that don't speak English. A LOT of kids that make a LOT of noise. Residents blare music on a regular basis (can be heard with windows closed). Management ignore it. Management will not take responsability for anything, especially when it concerns the saftey of residents.

Stay away from this one, at all costs!

where i live you have until the 4th to pay the rent ,and on the 5th you are given a 3 day notice to pay, the latest i paid was the fourth. the earliest i paid was the 29 0r 30 if the 1st was on a weekend.
