Not a great place to live

The inside of the apartments are pretty nice. We got the 2 bed with the vaulted ceilings, and everything was nice and new upon move-in. The carpet was put in pretty shoddily, however, and it took them forever to fix little things that were broken.
The "fitness center" is a joke, there's a graffiti-covered sauna and two weight machines. No treadmill. The pool and spa are disgusting. I don't feel comfortable using it. At all. I have never seen the fountains work, either. There are always creepy guys in the landscaped area, or lurking around the parking lots. I can't even walk to my car or sit on my patio without creepy neighbor guys leering at me. I was once even followed and harassed by a man while trying to walk to my door.
My PROBLEM with this complex is the inattentive management. They will charge you arm and leg fees for anything they can, yet they do nothing to improve issues around here. I truly feel that upon my move-out, they will try to charge me for any ridiculous claim they can contrive. I do not trust them at all.
I am not a racist in any way, shape or form, but NOBODY here speaks English. People are constantly rapping on my door, until they find out I don't speak Spanish, then they rap on everyone else's doors. There are many, many, many people living in each apartment, which results in a lot of noise, screaming children, and blaring techno and mariachi 24/7. Kids play in the driveway instead of the grass, there are constantly people out fixing their cars in the lot, and my car was badly keyed twice in my first week living here. Somebody even had a stack of tires on the lawn with a "For Sale" sign on them for two weeks. Tacky.
If I come home past 6pm, I am pretty much guaranteed to not find a parking spot anywhere near my unit. I often have to park on the complete other side of the complex. There are a LOT of parking spots here, and way more cars than there should be. People park like jerks, block me in, park in spots that aren't spots, and they even park all along the fire lane.
The noise here is also atrocious. Your experience here will depend on what side of the complex you are on- one side has a church, the train, a car dealership, along with very very busy noisy roads. The is also a fire station and a police station nearby, so the loud sirens are constant. I frequently hear people screaming outside, and the neighbors have no respect for other residents.
I would not recommend renting here if you like peace, quiet, and responsible management. If you're an illegal immigrant with 500 kids, then this is the place for you.

I used to live there myself (moved out in about 4 months ago). You're right about the charges upon moving out. I was charged for them to clean the blinds, then for them to replace the blinds. And just when I thought I had paid them everything, I got a letter saying "oh, wait, you still owe us!"
Good luck on the rest of your stay there.
