Decent for youngin's and older people

Been living here from Feb 2004 to present (August 2005).

First off, THIN WALLS so that when you're in the bathroom talking your next door neighbors, in their bathroom, can hear every word.

Second off, spiders everywhere. Like most places in Portland, but here every square inch has webbing.

The new management is good and keeps the grounds nice, they are reppairing the decks and repainting this month.

The pool isn't cleaned as often as I like and the hours of our little gym are ridiculous (8AM to 10PM). I am lobbying to have it open earlier in the morning.

I have the fenwick w/loft, two bedrooms plus loft. The loft gets SO HOT in summer but nice and toasty in the winter. But if I watch TV in the loft the acoustics make it louder downstairs than up here, so no one in the living room can watch TV.

The windows are thin and so you can hear people outside, but this is a very quiet community.

The free parking spaces are all compact and my car is all scuffed up. I drive a compact (a Geo Prizm)but there are many SUVs in the free spots and lare sedans (it's the Sedans that keep hitting me) The car port (1 space per apartment), however, is roomy.

The staff is friendly and helpful and the neighbors are friendly and diverse. The rent is little for what you get so we'll be staying when our lease is up at the end of this month.

There is a park adjacent and we're right behind a Fred Meyer rocery store. The Tanasbourne shopping area (A Target, 2 grocery stores, drug store, every strip mall store you can imagine) is a five minute drive away and the neighborhood is safe.

However, the washing machines in the apartments are old and no matter how many times I run a degreaser, it seems to ruin some of my clothes with grease stains. If you're moving here I'd request a newer appliance.

There are plenty of kids here but it seems too cramped for families. Great for roomates or young couples and retirees. We have plenty here so the quiet hours must be observed (10PM to 8AM).

However, I stay up all night (literally) watching TV and listening to music a little loud and no one has ever complained.
