New Management - Things are looking up for Hunter's Run

Hi there-
About 2 months ago I signed onto this website prepared to write a horrible review. A new company had taken over Hunter's Run and suddenly things started to go down hill quickly. No one was aloud to have potted flowers on their front or back patio, phone calls were never returned, the new staff was rude and condesending, etc.
Our lease was up the end of September and the new management wanted to increase our rent by $130 a month. Like one of the other tenants said, "Who are these people' Do they think we're getting $100-$200 per month raise at work'" At first, we were devestated that we had to move. We had lived at Hunter's Run since 2005 and created some beautiful memories in our apartment home; bringing home our first baby was certainly the most memorable moment!
I can totally relate to the other tenants who have written bad reviews about Cambridge. Although, I am now convinced that the upset and frustration that we tenants were experiencing had little to do with Cambridge and more to do with bad management. Fortunately, they fired the old manager and hired a new one - Denise Stanton. She's been in the realstate/rental field for almost 20 years. Denise exudes kindness, honesty and profressionalism.
My husband and I are great tenants. We've never had any complaints, took exceptional care of our apartment and always paid rent on time. We worked our butts off cleaning the apartment from top to bottom before our final walk through. With the way the old manager was running things, we were sure that we'd be robbed of our security deposit and perhaps owe more money after we moved. Our experience was refreshingly opposite.
Denise complimented how nice the apartment smelled, how clean it looked and that it was in great condition. We had painted accent walls that we weren't able to paint over because we ran out of time. A total of $90 was taken from our security deposit in order to pay for the extra paint (they were planning to paint the apartment anyway), which we felt was very fair. Our check arrived today. On the back page Denise signed her name and wrote "Best Wishes". How nice!
Things are looking up for Hunter's Run. I'm confident that with Denise as the new manager, morale within the apartment community will rise. This apartment community is really a great place to live. It's clean, quiet and most of the other tenants are great. We were fond of all of our neighbors and miss them dearly. I would highly reccommend moving into Hunter's Run. We would still live there if our finances allowed it.
Good luck to you!

Anyone else find this post suspect? Perhaps not, but if my rent was raised $130 a month I'd not be gloating over the new management. So you got your security deposit back... doesn't change the fact you have to move. Best wishes!
