I lived there for over 3yrs - if you complain, your rent goes up. The management told me when I moved in, that they're old apts -so normal wear is expected; when I moved out the place was cleaner than when I moved in so I'd get my $600 deposit back, but they were absolutley unreasonable about the 'current condition' report to want to keep it all. "there's a spider web between the light fixture" kind of stuff. "Debris" left in a empty drawer was a one-and-only corner piece of paper smaller than a quarter - that I picked up when mentioned.
They gave me a written quote for $599/mo then when I went back two days later they said it's $699 now, then ended up paying $875/mo so it was more difficult to move out of a place where I could hear every footstep creak in the ceiling from the upstairs neighbor.
Initially there were drain, oven and electrical probs probs after I moved in that they never checked. The maintenance would say - "That's good enough" The landscapers decide whether your immediate area gets attn or not - I had leaves from Fall in my front rock garden in the following Spring they never got, but each week the jerk made the effort to flip my welcome mat over with the blower, sprayed my plants with roundup and didn't turn the water on during the summer - I even caught them plugged into my elecrical outlet on my porch to pressure wash the building, and a different time to grind down the pavement on the curb. I complained, so they got a generator to do the rest and spilled gas all over the grass to get me back. They never compensated me for the increased power usage - or at least haven't yet!...hmmm.
In my opinion - the place is full of racist mexican landscapers and discriminating fat woman management haters- they're the king of they're own little world - and probably the example for the demise of the quality standards of the property.
The police said the place wasn't a very good area after a rampage of 15-20 car windows were smashed out & all kinds of stuff stolen a few days before X-mas. I had things stolen from my front and back porch - with no resolve, my car was scrached from kids skateboarding and a different serires of 20 chips from from a knife or key or something.
