You will regret living at Lasalle.

At the time I am writing this review, only 36% of the reviewers recommend Lasalle.

I'm not surprised.

There are many issues with this apartment community.

The management is the worst I've ever dealt with.

This is supposed to be a "higher end" apartment community and they certainly are not in any way "high end".

There is not sufficient parking for residents and if you think visitors can park, think again.

Parking regulations are not enforced.

In fact, you will often find the maintenance golf carts parked in resident parking spots, therefore making an already poor parking situation even worse.

There are dogs barking all hours of the day and night.

If you call to complain, they tell you "we'll try and contact the owner or you could just call the police".

Calling the police would be great, IF you could determine what the apartment number is that the dog is in.

Keep in mind that many of the apartments here do not have exterior door numbers so you can't call the police because you don't have an address!

Another issue with dogs is that they don't enforce the "pick up your dog's mess" rule.

It is a noisy community, stereos playing loud, people revving their motorcycles and sports car engines in the parking spots, right outside your windows.

Another added benefit with this is that you get their exhaust in your home.

You can call the office, but again you don't always know the address of the offender.

They say "we'll send someone right over" but they don't.

There are not recycling dumpsters easily accessable for all residents.

The few they do have are overflowing with trash almost daily, while the garbage dumpsters sit almost empty.

The management is not open to suggestions about getting more recycling dumpsters either.

I've asked at least six times over the past year and have gotten nowhere.

They are not "environmentally concious".

The walls of the apartments are very thin, you can hear your neighbor's conversations, among other things, through the walls.

The maintenance team is actually good.

They come when they are called.

They are on their 3rd manager in a year, that should tell you something.

All I can tell you is that if you rent here, you will regret it.

Motorcycles revving? Dogs barking all night? You must live right in my courtyard behind the MAX train! The guy who revs his motorcylcle (2982) is a MAJOR reason I am moving out. I have never dealt with such inconsiderate, unfriendly neighbors in my life. And don't get me started on the dumpster divers waking me up at 5 am and tearing open garbage bags. The management couldn't care less about it - all I ever get from them is 'Call the police' too. That's what you get when kids are running an office. Can't wait to leave!!
